We can recommend suggested airlines which fly to India but we are currently not ATOL protected or hold a license to book flights so the customer will remain responsible for any travel plans before arrival.

Are the entry fee included?

All entry fees are included but you will need to bring a valid passport ID to enter some areas.

What should I bring?

India is a warm country with mosquitos, a variety of bugs and biting flies. We recommend you bring your own insect repellent or deet.

 

You'll share memories which will last a lifetime. Don't regret it by forgetting your camera!

 

A cotton or silk scarf will keep you cool in warm weather, especially if you soak it in cold water and wrap it around yourself.

 

The sun is bright around midday. Sunglasses are recommended to protect your eyes.

 

In the early mornings and late evenings, India can be cold in the months of winter which is from SeptemberMarch. Bring at least one light jacket, sweater or cardigan.

 

India can be dusty. It is unlikely to rain but it could so make sure to bring sensible shoes for walking such as a pair of trainers or hiking boots. You might also want to bring a pair of sandals too.

 

With the hot weather in the day and cool weather in the evenings, we recommend light breathable clothing such as cotton or linen trousers, cargo shorts or trouserslong silk or cotton dresses for women, cotton shirts and light t-shirts. India can be quite diverse in terms of dress sense amongst the locals so feel free to bring vest tops and wear shorts for men or midi dresses for women, we recommend carrying a shawl and covering up more when visiting religous. This means shoulders and ankles covered.

 

Days out travelling can be long so if you want to make sure you have enough charge, bring a portable charger.

 

India uses 2-pin plug sockets so bring a power adapter for this socket.

 

Coconut oil and lavender essential oil are useful if you wish to bring to soothe potential mosquito bites. 

Where do I purchase my visa from?

E visas for India can be made through the government e-visa website here.

You must hold a valid passport with more than six months before expiration.
Please allow 10 days for the visa to process.

ORDINARY (SINGLE ENTRY) VISA

An application of Ordinary Visa should be accompanied with the following;

  • Copy of the applicants valid passport (biographic data page)
    and a passport size photo in jpeg/png size 300kb max
  • Return ticket of the flight;
  • Dully filled in declaration form
  • 50 USD visa fee.
Can I split my payment?

Of course! If you would prefer to book with us using a deposit option to secure your space, we can split the payment into individual invoices. To do this please email us directly at hello@uhuruexperience.com  or submit us a message on the contact form under the Contact Us section of our website. We have partnered with Protected Trust Services finance to offer you a secure way to pay scheduled invoices.

What if I have to cancel my trip?

Whether you choose to pay upfront through our website or contact us for a split payment plan, 30% is classed as your deposit and is non-refundable should you decide to cancel your booking. 

If you decide to cancel for any unforeseen circumstance you can always transfer the booking to a friend and we can put the purchase in their name or we can refund you the remainder of 70% as long as cancelations are made 20 days before the tour start date.
